Office & HR Administrator

The Role

As Office & Human Resources Administrator at RJ4All, you will support our team to ensure effective operations of RJ4All. The main goal will be to ensure a smooth running of the day-to-day for staff and for the organisation’s priorities, ensuring systems are up to date, and in place for effective running. 

You will work closely with managers and the rest of the team to support the implementation of Human Resources, including supporting recruitment, recordkeeping, information management, and entry and exit processes. 

You will also support the whole team including managers and project officers with administrative tasks including updating databases & policies, supporting internal communications, creating processes, contacting stakeholders, support planning, chasing outstanding matters, etc. 

The postholder will need to be able to show excellent organisation skills, ability to juggle with tasks and perform them with confidence and diligence, with a good level of independence. Initiative and innovation are attributes that are highly valued at RJ4All to improve our current processes.

The working time for this role is 4 days per week, with a two-year contract and the opportunity for renewal. The annual salary range is Gross FTE – £26,312 – £28,282 per annum pro rata.

Summary of Key tasks

Human Resources

  • To ensure up-to-date HR documentation and recordkeeping to ensure effective administration and information management.
  • To support the updating of organisational policies and produce new ones according to need in line with RJ4All Employee’s handbook.
  • To support induction and onboarding of new staff and volunteers.
  • To organise probation, supervision, and personal development meetings between staff and line managers. 
  • To implement policies and answer staff questions on HR matters including annual leave, pension, working conditions, performance, equal opportunity.


  • To organise meetings, weekly RJ4ALL staff meetings and quarterly board meetings, take minutes, and maintain action tracker.
  • To lead on keeping the RJ4All Sharepoint up-to-date and tidy and the RJ4All e-Library
  • To maintain the organisation’s database.
  • To liaise with relevant stakeholders including chasing outstanding matters, and broadcasting information to service users.
