Take part in our Mayflower Youth Awards!

Send us your work by the end of September for the chance to win amazing prizes!
Sailing the Mayflower is managed by our youth-led FRED campaign, taking the sailing of the Mayflower as inspiration to bring young people together to celebrate the contribution of migrants and refugees in Southwark and across London. Young people from across London have been submitting entries to our online competition to commemorate the Mayflower and celebrate migration for the chance to win amazing prizes.
With the support of our sponsors we will be awarding the winners amazing prizes, including iPads, tablets, Oliver Bonas goodie bags, £50 gift vouchers, trips to London Zoo and Kew Gardens, and career coaching opportunities and internships.
On the day of the awards ceremony, 28th October 2020, participants and guests will be able to view the submissions in an online exhibition and to watch our keynote speakers’ speeches and our sponsors announcing the winners and runners-up. If you, like us, want to make a difference and enhance community cohesion, please get involved and submit your entry!

To submit, send your entry to now!

Submissions can be made into one of the following categories:
Art – Paintings, drawings, photographs, videos

Writing – Stories, poems, blog posts and articles

Community Projects – A previous inspiring community project

Music, dance and drama – Songs, recorded dances and plays
Entries can be absolutely anything to do with the Mayflower or celebrating diversity and the contributions of migrants and refugees. You have until the end of September to submit your entry.
