Restoring Justice through Food Poverty Relief

In the heart of our community lies the RJ4All Community Centre, a sanctuary for empowerment and restorative justice. As we navigate through the challenges of the cost of living crisis, the need for basic support services becomes increasingly urgent. Food, as a fundamental human need, cannot be overlooked.

At RJ4All, we understand that access to nutritious food is not just a matter of sustenance; it’s a cornerstone of dignity and well-being. By providing food services at our community centre, we not only alleviate immediate hunger but also foster a sense of belonging, community cohesion and support for those facing economic hardships. It contributes to RJ4All’s vision of building the world’s first restorative justice postcode. as without food we simply cannot function as members of any group or society!

Join us in our mission to address the cost of living crisis and build a more just and compassionate society, one meal at a time, at the RJ4All Community Centre.

Our four food poverty relief services

Food Bank

At RJ4All, our mission is clear: to address food poverty and disadvantage in the SE16 London area. Through our food bank initiative, we aim to tackle poor diet and health inequalities by providing residents, local communities, and low-income families with access to surplus food, clothing, and household items at heavily subsidised prices.

Operating from our premises on a weekly basis, our food bank is complemented by our Community Fridge, which is open to all Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 17:30. For the freshest produce and widest selection, we recommend visiting on Tuesdays from 11 am to 2 pm.

Join us in our efforts to make nutritious food and essential items more accessible to those in need. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier community for all.

Community Fridge

The RJ4All Community Fridge in South East London is more than just a refrigerator – it’s a beacon of sustainability and community empowerment. By providing quality food while preventing waste, our Community Fridge serves as a vital resource for local residents.

Beyond addressing food needs, our Community Fridge fosters connections and social cohesion. In a time marked by the challenges of COVID-19, it plays a crucial role in mitigating socio-economic impacts and supporting mental and physical well-being.

Join us in our commitment to reducing food waste, supporting communities, and promoting a healthier, more connected future for all.
