RJ4ALL Receives Arnold Clark Community Fund!

Southwark Charity to receive £1,000 grant from Arnold Clark Community Fund for Food Bank and Sports Activities

The Restorative Justice for All (RJ4ALL) International Institute has been awarded a £1,000 grant from the Arnold Clark Community Fund. The fund will support the organisation’s efforts to tackle food poverty and help to address the needs of the local community as families face the additional strain of the cost of living crisis.

Based at the Rotherhithe Community Centre the charity offers a variety of services including but not limited to: a food bank, free women’s only fitness classes, clothes donated by Decathlon and a newly launched community gym. The food bank runs every Monday at the Centre from 10:00 to 13:00pm, offering fresh foods and other household essentials.

Thanks to the support from Arnold Clark, RJ4ALL will now be able to purchase non-perishable food for their food bank, as well as other necessities such as cleaning products and winter clothes for their service users.

Dr. Theo Gavrielides, RJ4All Founder and Director, commented: “We are thrilled to receive support from the Arnold Clark Community Fund. This funding will have a huge positive impact on the community and help us in our aim to become the first restorative postcode in the country.”

Alex, one of their long term service users of the Food Bank said: “The Foodbank has made a huge difference to me. It welcomes anyone in need, and provides staple foods which really help at a time when finding money for basic essentials is a struggle.”
